Project Management Unit (PMU) to assist with the Planning
and Implementation of the City of Tshwane’s Belle Ombre
Bus Depot development, which comprises of a multi-storey
administration building, fuel and wash bays, maintenance
block and parking areas for a three and a half (3.5) months
period.
Planning and Implementation of Northmead Clinic in
Ekurhuleni District for Ten (10) months Period. The project
requires Construction Project Management, Structural,
Civil Services, Architectural, Mechanical (Wet Services and
Fire), Quantity surveyor and Electrical and Electronics.

Power & Energy Projects
Construction monitoring for two City Power substations -Nanceeld Substation (3 x 45 MVA, 88/11kV) and Eldorado Park
Substation (4 x 45 MVA, 88/11kV).
Conduct status quo on the pump stations, produce 10 year load
forecasting, produce a pump station preliminary design complete
with key equipment maintenance speci cations.
Street lighting, LV reticulation and 132 kV, double circuit,
300 MVA Overhead Line elevation design.
Transportation Sector
The City of Ekurhuleni is busy implementing an IRPTN System. The focus of the system is to connect the nine towns and seventeen townships within Ekurhuleni through various surface based public transport modes. The Harambee BRT is the backbone of the IRPN. AMCE was appointed as the Project Management Unit Professional Services for the Planning & Implementation of the IRPTN System, Design & Implementation of Engineering and Construction projects.
The objective of the Polokwane Integrated Rapid Public Transport System –PIRPTS (Leeto La Polokwane) is to ensure that all members of the Polokwane community have access to a safe, affordable and reliable public transport which will link them with social, economic and employment opportunities.Leeto La Polokwane is being implemented in
a phased approach. Ph 1 & 2 are focused on
Rapid Public Transport (Infrastructure
Intervention). The Phase 1 and 2 network has
12 km of dedicated busway, while the rest
consists of 10 trunk extensions and 6 feeder
routes, 7 trunk stations, kerb-side stations on
extensions and feeders, a depot and a
control center.
Leeto la Polokwane buses are tted with
Automated Fare Collection (AFC) and Public
Transport Management System (PTMS) that is
monitored at the Control Centre situated at
the Peter Mokaba Stadium. They are
Universally Accessibility compliant giving
priority seating.
SoW included Project Management Unit Professional Services for the Planning & Implementation of the IRPTN System, Design & Implementation of Engineering and Construction projects & Specialist Studies in line with project requirements.

Health Sector
The existing hospital is a 144 bed hospital and
is scheduled for upgrading and expansion to
a 212 bed regional hospital. AMCE has been
appointed as the lead professional services
team to undertake:
The existing hospital facility has been
decommissioned and out of service for a
number of years. The project is thus aimed at
the redevelopment and establishment of a
new hospital. The project is to be
implemented over two phases with the
demolition of the existing hospital being
Phase 1 and the reconstruction of a new
hospital facility being Phase 2. AMCE has
been appointed by the Gauteng
Department of Infrastructure Development
to provide the following services
The new 300 hospital is planned to provide
critical and professional healthcare services
in the region. The new hospital is to be
developed in partnership with the Provincial
and Local Government. AMCE forms part of
a consortium established appointed by
Coega Development Corporation to
develop the new facility. The estimated
budget for the project is R 1 300 000 000;
