Conditions of Employment

Dress Code

In any corporate environment we are judged by professional
appearance, and it is important that we project professional image
whenever we represent the Company
During normal business hours ,AMCE’s employees are required to
dress in an appropriate manner that conveys this professional image

Intoxication

Drunkenness on duty and partaking of alcohol on duty
(whether or not the employee is intoxicated) may constitute
misconduct. Misconduct is one of the grounds recognized
by the law that may give reason for the dismissal of an
employee if preceded with a fair procedure

Recruitment & selection (onboarding & probation)

HR brief induction will take place on the first day of employment and then formal presentation by departmental Heads will takes within the first month of employment.

AMCE`s probation period is three months subject to employee meeting the required performance standard. Failure to, may result in extension of probation period .

Employment will be confirmed by Line Manager and Human Capital signing the probation evaluation form.

Total cost to company is inclusive of basic salary, all company benefits (Group Risk, Pension fund, medica aid and statutory deductions ( tax and UIF ).

All payslips are accessible via employee self-service system.

Remuneration & benefits

Leave processes

All AMCE employees are entitled to 22 days per leave cycle. Annual leave days are accrued at 1.833 per month, an employee can apply for annual leave subject to preapproval by the line manager and subjects of availability.

 

AMCE employees are entitled to 30 days sick leave in a 3-year cycle, such entitlement is due only in the event of sickness or injury. The first six month employees are entitled 1 day for each 26 days worked in month .

AMCE employees are entitled to  3 leave days per cycle.

No, all employees are required to put in leave on ESS prior to absence.

Employees must request annual leave and get approval from their Line Managers the take annual leave upon approval.
